Dyncord: Discord branding, paid plans and a shared support network.

Dyncord sells a Discord workspace under an independent seller, with familiar blue-purple branding and paid AI features. Its German listing, privacy disclosures and subscription wording deserve scrutiny; an identical support form directly connects its website to Instagram and Snapchat app sites associated with Talha Faisal.

VISUAL EVIDENCE

A different symbol in a familiar blue-purple app icon.

Dyncord uses a white speech bubble with two oval eyes on blue-purple; the official Discord reference uses the white Clyde symbol on a similar colour family. The symbols differ. The consumer concern is the combined name, colour and promotional wording, not a claim that the icons are identical. The monitor’s similarity percentage is not used as a validated measure.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Recognizable Discord branding. Important purchase and privacy details.

Dyncord trades on the similarity to Discord

Our assessment is that the name Dyncord exploits its close visual resemblance to Discord to trade on the established brand’s recognition. Combined with a blue-purple icon and prominent Discord wording in the promotional images, this risks attracting people looking for Discord and confusing them about the publisher. The app sells a separate workspace with AI tools; its seller is Talha Faisal, not Discord Inc. This is our assessment of the public presentation, not verified evidence of the developer’s intent or measured search traffic. The independence disclaimer does not itself establish branding permission.

“Data Not Collected” does not explain the AI workflow

Germany displays Keine Daten erfasst. The linked policy says AI inputs can include conversation excerpts and may be sent to providers such as OpenAI. It separately says Discord sessions stay on the Mac. Users need to understand that local session storage does not mean AI prompts stay local. The published pages do not establish provider retention or actual app traffic, so this is a disclosure question rather than a confirmed data leak.

A concrete link: three websites share one support form

Dyncord’s support page, App for Instagrams support and App for Snapchat support embed the exact same Google Form URL and form ID. Indexed Apple pages also associate the other two apps with Talha Faisal. This directly connects their public support infrastructure. It does not establish a connection to the developers in our earlier Claude or Instagram reports.

Germany names a trader and displays three prices

The German provider panel identifies Talha Faisal as a trader and gives Faisalabad, Pakistan as the declared address location. Its three visible offers are €9.99 monthly, €44.99 yearly and €69.99 lifetime. The description’s weekly and six-month options are not reconciled with that table. Location is identity context, not evidence of wrongdoing.

WHAT IT COSTS

Three priced options. Two more billing periods mentioned.

US, Irish and German listings show the same three purchase labels. Germany and Ireland display €9.99 monthly, €44.99 yearly and €69.99 lifetime; the US displays $9.99, $39.99 and $59.99. The description additionally advertises Weekly and 6-Month billing, but the reviewed purchase tables do not price those options. Availability at checkout was not tested. Sources: PDF pages 2–3 and 5; live store pages.

Paying monthly has an annual cost of $119.88 or €119.88.

Twelve monthly payments at $9.99 total $119.88, about three times the listed $39.99 US yearly option. Twelve monthly payments at €9.99 total €119.88, about 2.66 times the €44.99 German/Irish yearly option.

Assumes unchanged monthly pricing without cancellation or discounts; identical plan benefits were not verified. No weekly price was found, so no annual cost is invented for the advertised weekly plan. A price difference alone is not proof of fraud.

What the German App Store actually says.

The German page currently uses Dyncord: Chat & Server Manager. It lists Talha Faisal as the developer, describes the app as Mac-only, requires macOS 14.0 or later, and lists English as its language. The description remains in English. The app is free to download with paid purchases; a free download is not a promise that the advertised Pro tools are free.

The expanded Anbieter panel says the provider has identified as a trader and confirmed compliance with European Union law. It gives a declared address in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Germany and Ireland show the same trader contact details. The street address, phone number and email are retained privately for comparison and are not reproduced in this article.

Apple’s panel records the provider’s declaration; it is not an independent finding about business registration, nationality or compliance. The page also says there are insufficient ratings or reviews for an overview. No user complaint or refund outcome was verified for this app.

The displayed content rating is 4+, while the developer’s terms require users to be at least 13 or the applicable local minimum. A content rating and contractual eligibility are different measures; the rating should not be read as permission for a four-year-old to use Discord. The app’s actual age checks and content safeguards were not tested.

The shared form links Dyncord, Instagram and Snapchat sites.

All three support pages embed one identical Google Form, with the same unique form identifier and fields for name, email, app name and comments. This is a concrete shared service endpoint, not merely a common Google Sites layout. The form was inspected without signing in or submitting a request.

The connected sites use the roots /view/appfordiscord/, /view/appforinstagrams/ and /view/appforsnapchat/. Their privacy pages describe closely related Mac workspaces: separate web sessions, paid multi-account access and optional AI tools. The matching architecture is supporting context; the exact shared form is the stronger technical connection.

Apple listing content surfaced in search names Talha Faisal for App for Instagram & Messenger (6793467984) and App for Snapchat AI Tools (6795895228). The indexed Instagram page also displays the same public trader contact details as Dyncord. Direct checks of those sibling apps returned 404 in Germany and Ireland; the Spanish Instagram and Egyptian Snapchat URLs also failed on direct retrieval. Current availability cannot be claimed from indexed content.

The live US and German developer catalogs showed only Dyncord during this check. The supplied analysis therefore should not be read as establishing that this seller has only ever published one app. The portfolio association is supported by the indexed seller/contact evidence and the shared live support endpoint; a current shared numeric developer account for all three was not independently recovered.

What connects this case to the earlier developers?

We compared Talha Faisal’s public contact, developer account, website roots and support form against the earlier cases: Muhammad Azan, Waseem Abbass, Muhammad Husnain, zain saeed ahmad, Anam Shehzadi and Zain Anwar. No verified shared email, phone, exact street address, developer ID, support form or named business relationship was found in the inspected records.

Talha Faisal, Muhammad Azan and Anam Shehzadi have declared Faisalabad, Pakistan locations in the reviewed provider records. Shared city and country are geographical similarities, not evidence that they own the same business or know each other. Talha’s contact details differ from the comparison records. His Gmail handle contains a name and numeric suffix, a pattern too common to identify an operator.

Google Sites and embedded content are also shared presentation choices. Azan’s support page uses a different Google Form ID; the other checked contacts do not point to Talha’s form. Anam’s current contact page refers to Anum Apps and supplies a different support address. Zain Anwar’s policy/support pages use zaapps.fwh.is. These distinctions matter when assessing a proposed common network.

The recurring commercial pattern is recognizable: a third-party workspace promotes a major platform’s name, offers paid features, and links to a hosted policy site. That pattern can justify comparable scrutiny of branding and disclosures. It does not establish a coordinated scam or a shared development team.

Local Discord sessions and off-device AI prompts are different.

The policy dated 22 October distinguishes local workspace settings, Discord cookies/session state, draft libraries and downloaded files from AI inputs sent for processing. AI inputs can include prompts, tone settings and selected conversation excerpts. It names OpenAI as an example processor and links its privacy policy. The provider’s terms say replies are inserted for review and are not sent as personal messages automatically.

The policy also describes Apple purchase status, optional support communications and possible website cookies/log data. These categories do not automatically mean the app’s privacy label is false: Apple’s definition depends on off-device access and retention, and provides specific optional-disclosure conditions for support interactions. Processing on the device is not collection for that label.

The unresolved consumer issue is whether AI providers or intermediaries retain prompts or conversation excerpts beyond servicing the request, and whether the App Store label reflects that practice. The policy does not provide a concrete processor-retention configuration. No installation, network capture or processor-account review was performed, so actual collection, security and consent behavior are not established.

“Now Dyncord” signals a rename, not a proven review-evasion sequence.

The current version 1.1 release note, dated 23 October 2026, announces Now Dyncord and describes a faster workspace, AI drafts and server layouts. The source version history records version 1.0 on 23 August and 1.0.1 on 10 September. The current promotional images still label the app App for Discord in the sidebar, despite the Dyncord listing name. This is a directly visible naming mismatch; it does not by itself establish that the images or icon were otherwise changed.

Older Apple content still surfaced by search under App for Discord for the same numeric app ID. This supports an earlier name associated with this listing. Search-index freshness does not establish the exact rename time, and we do not have a verified dated earlier icon or screenshot set for comparison.

The available record therefore indicates a move from the more explicit App for Discord name to Dyncord, while Discord remains prominent in promotional wording and in the bundle identifier. It does not demonstrate the generic-launch-to-brand-adoption sequence documented in our earlier reports, or that this developer bypassed App Review.

Discord’s branding and Apple’s rules warrant scrutiny.

Our concern begins with the name itself: Dyncord is visually close to Discord, retaining the opening D and the distinctive cord ending. In our assessment, this near-name branding trades on Discord’s recognition and risks being mistaken for, or associated with, the official service. The surrounding blue-purple imagery, repeated Discord references and screenshots still labelled App for Discord strengthen that concern. We have not established actual typing errors, search rankings, hidden keywords or the developer’s private intent; those are not presented as proven facts.

The app icon is a white two-eyed speech bubble, not an identical copy of Discord’s Clyde symbol. Both reference images use a blue-purple colour family. Marketing repeatedly places Discord beside paid AI and workspace claims. The developer explicitly disclaims affiliation, but that statement does not supply permission to use protected branding or resolve whether the overall presentation confuses users.

Discord’s official brand page identifies its marks, logos and distinctive visual assets as protected and states that permission is required except for permitted uses. Its guidance addresses confusing similarity and imitation of brand presentation. Whether Dyncord has specific permission has not been established; no legal infringement ruling is asserted here.

Apple’s rules relevant to review include accurate metadata (2.3), copycat/impersonation and icon or name approval (4.1), intellectual property (5.2.1), privacy disclosure (5.1.1), and the value added beyond a repackaged website (4.2). Dyncord advertises extra AI and workspace features, so embedding a website alone does not establish a minimum-functionality violation. No Apple enforcement decision was found.
