TradingView-style branding. A different seller. A separate bill.

TradingView is one brand name built from Trading and View. This developer separates those same words with Chart and pairs them with a close imitation of the official icon—an abuse of TradingView brand recognition in App Scam DB’s assessment. Its separate $5.99 weekly subscription has an estimated annual cost of $311.48. Five apps share its Apple account, and public support-site configuration connects it to Hoorain Fatima / AppVortex without establishing common legal ownership.

VISUAL EVIDENCE

The T, circle and diagonal stroke closely imitate TradingView

Original Apple-hosted icons, checked 30 October 2026. The investigated app retains the chunky white T, white circle and diagonal white bar on black, but moves the circle to the far right and reverses the bar’s slant. Official TradingView places the circle between the T and rising diagonal. App Scam DB assesses this as a close visual imitation with altered details; the files are not pixel-identical.

Splitting TradingView into Trading and View exploits brand recognition

The official TradingView brand combines Trading and View into one name. Trading Chart View & Insights separates those same elements with Chart and pairs them with a closely imitated icon. App Scam DB assesses this as abuse of the official brand’s recognition that risks misleading users searching for TradingView. Internal keywords and ranking effects were not measured.

TradingView split into Trading and View: exploiting the official name

The investigated icon is a close imitation of TradingView’s distinctive black-and-white T/circle/diagonal composition. It keeps the thick T but moves the circle to the upper right and reverses the diagonal stroke. This is more specific than simply using a finance chart or a black background. The original icons are distinct assets; no pixel-identical or copied-code claim is made.

TradingView is written as one brand name, combining the words Trading and View. The developer names its app Trading Chart View & Insights, separating those same recognizable elements with Chart. Paired with the closely imitated black-and-white symbol, this exploits recognition of the official TradingView name while using a different title. App Scam DB assesses the combined presentation as abuse of brand recognition that risks misleading people searching for TradingView into choosing a separately published and billed app. This assessment concerns the public name/icon pairing; the developer’s internal keywords and actual effects on App Store rankings were not measured.

The official App Store reference names TradingView as developer and TradingView, Inc. as seller. This Mac app names Sami Ullah Zia Subah Sadiq Javaid. No explicit TradingView independence disclaimer was found in its retrieved description. Its financial disclaimer concerns accuracy and investment advice, not publisher affiliation.

The first advertisement contains a small TradingView attribution mark inside the displayed chart. TradingView supplies embeddable charts and widgets, so the presence of its chart UI or attribution alone does not prove unauthorized use. It also does not establish permission to mimic its app icon or imply official status. The app was not installed and no licensing agreement was obtained.

Five apps are directly linked to this seller

The live Apple catalog and exact-ID lookup establish one developer account spanning three Mac titles and two iPhone/iPad titles. Every bundle identifier uses com.appslogic. The shared AppsLogic copyright and repeated legal URLs reinforce an already direct account link.

The earliest current portfolio release is Brushes | Fonts for Procreate in November 2024. That is a release date, not proof of when the developer account was opened. Procreate appears in a resource-pack title; that alone does not establish that the app impersonates Procreate. Orbix’s GPT model subtitle is also recorded as marketing, without claiming its integration was tested.

The current catalog does not establish a previous account ban, replacement identity or relationship to developers in earlier App Scam DB reports. The separate AppVortex connection rests on public site configuration rather than name similarity, as detailed next.

A concrete infrastructure link to Hoorain Fatima / AppVortex

The Apps Logic support page’s public JavaScript selects a Firestore database named humo-ai-humanizer. Following that specific product clue led to Humanize AI: Bypass & Detect, app 6760720289, published by Hoorain Fatima under a different Apple developer ID, 1880748304. Its listing links appvortex-pi.vercel.app, whose privacy policy explicitly refers to Humo.

Inspection of both public support-page sources found the same Firebase project, authentication domain and storage bucket. Both scripts select the named humo-ai-humanizer database and contact_messages collection. This is substantially more specific than sharing Vercel hosting or a generic form design: both pages are configured to send support messages to the same logical destination.

The finding establishes shared published configuration and contact-form code. It could reflect shared development, copied site code or access to common support infrastructure; it does not independently prove who owns either Apple account or that the configured backend is operational. No form was submitted, Firebase API queried, authentication attempted or database content accessed.

The Hoorain Fatima catalog also lists AI Design Maker: Craft Space and Designs For Bambu Lab 3D. These are portfolio context for the second account, not additional findings of fraud or confirmed brand copying. No family relationship, account transfer or ban-evasion link was established.

The other account: three distinct apps under Hoorain Fatima

Apple developer account 1880748304 currently lists three unique apps. Humanize AI: Bypass & Detect appears in both the iPhone/iPad and Mac sections, but its numeric app ID is the same and it is counted once. All three exact app records identify Hoorain Fatima as the developer.

Humanize AI is the app that directly links the AppVortex website used for the support-source comparison. The other two titles are directly associated through the same Apple developer account, rather than merely through similar names or hosting. This portfolio listing is identity context: it does not independently establish that either additional app infringes a brand, is fraudulent, or shares an operator with Apps Logic.

The bundle identifiers below are reproduced exactly from Apple lookup. First-release dates are app dates, not developer-account creation dates. These related portfolio apps are not additional primary subjects in country statistics.

The second account’s business country could not be established

All three Hoorain Fatima apps were checked in both Germany and Ireland. Every obtained provider panel says Hoorain Fatima has not identified itself as a trader. None of these six panels supplies a business address or country. This is a disclosure result, not evidence that the apps are unavailable or that Apple removed an account.

The AppVortex support homepage, linked privacy policy and terms do not identify a business jurisdiction, registered legal company, company number or business address. The terms contain usage, prohibited-conduct and warranty sections, without a governing-country clause. No registry entity could be linked to this Apple account through a legal identifier.

Exact-name searches returned several distinct professional and social profiles in Pakistan. None was corroborated by this account’s numeric developer ID, app IDs, linked domain or a matching legal business record. Assigning those people’s location to the Apple developer would conflate namesakes. The shared Firebase configuration with Apps Logic is a technical connection, not a geographical one.

The second account’s business country therefore remains Unknown for this investigation. No country has been inferred from a name, language, storefront availability, infrastructure hosting or a namesake profile. This related-account check does not add its apps to the primary-country statistics for the Trading Chart View report.

The no-collection label needs an app-specific explanation

The Apple label says Data Not Collected. The current shared policy says Apps Logic may collect usage statistics, crash reports and device information, and may process inputs locally or via secure servers. It names Firebase and describes transient processing rather than permanent storage of private input text.

The listing advertises screenshot-based AI chart analysis, follow-up questions and stored analysis history. The policy does not identify the chart-analysis provider or clearly explain whether uploaded chart images, prompts, technical records and analysis history remain on-device, are retained by third parties, or fall outside the no-collection label.

An apparent disclosure gap is not a measured data leak. Apple distinguishes retained off-device collection from real-time-only processing; narrowly defined optional-support disclosures can also be exempt. The relevant issue is which conditional policy practices actually apply to this app, not an automatic conclusion that every server request makes the label false.

The visible US reviews include a complaint that market data lags and a complaint about access. Other visible reviews are positive. The developer replied to the lag complaint that an update was awaiting approval. Those are user/developer statements, not independent measurements of data latency, proof of affiliation confusion or proof of fabricated reviews.

One-star review says the app lags behind the market, with developer reply.
Original native Apple review-card capture, 30 October 2026. Review dated 19 October; the developer’s visible reply discusses a pending update. Statements are attributed, not independently tested.

Non-trader disclosures leave the business country unknown

The German and Irish listings both say the provider has not identified itself as a trader. Neither obtained panel supplies a country or business address. The public support/legal bodies and Blogger profile did not establish an account-linked business jurisdiction. Country is recorded as Unknown; names, language, hosting and unrelated search profiles are not used as substitutes.

Apple lookup dates the primary app’s first release and version 1.0 to 13 August 2026. The supplied monitor began on 29 October and reports no observed changes. Archive-index queries revealed listing captures dated 15 and 29 October; the opened earlier replay shows the same title, subtitle and seller. Historical image pixels were not separately verified, so the report does not present the current icon as a proven launch icon.

The 15 October support replay and the 29 October policy replay were also opened. No generic launch followed by a later TradingView-branded transformation was established. The source monitor’s single snapshot, release date and independent archive dates are kept separate.

E1, E3-E6, E26-E31.

The combined branding warrants an App Store review

Apple’s accurate-metadata rules 2.3 and 2.3.7, artwork-rights rule 2.3.9, copycat rule 4.1 and intellectual-property rule 5.2.1 are relevant to the distinctive icon composition and confusingly familiar name. TradingView’s terms assert rights in its materials and describe licensed/attributed uses. No brand-owner permission or enforcement decision about this app was obtained.

TradingView’s specific restrictions on confusing application names and purchased trademark keywords appear within its referral-program rules. No evidence shows this developer participates in that program, so those clauses are not presented as an independently established contractual breach. The branding assessment instead rests on the observed presentation and Apple’s relevant rules.

Privacy rule 5.1.1 is relevant to the unexplained app-specific collection practices and legal-link mismatch. The app itself discloses that AI output may be inaccurate and is not financial advice. The supported result is a direct branding, billing and disclosure warning, not a verified financial-loss, malware or unauthorized-charge finding.
