Claude keywords, orange branding and a Kodeora account link.

Poulami Das’s Code AI is linked through Kodeora support and copyright to another Apple developer account, Mr Siddharth. Separately, both submitted apps put Claude in their subtitles and pair it with orange palettes and radial imagery—an abuse of Claude brand recognition in App Scam DB’s assessment, risking confusion with Anthropic’s official product. A AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything customer reports a new payment demand after buying lifetime access, while Code AI’s no-middleman promise is qualified by an optional proxy in its policy.

VISUAL EVIDENCE

Three distinct icons: shared colour cues, different geometry

Original Apple-hosted assets retrieved 2 November 2026. AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything uses a sharp white burst on terracotta. Code AI uses AI lettering surrounded by eight short white rays on a lighter orange tile. Official Claude uses a distinctive irregular, long-rayed asterisk. Both third-party presentations evoke Claude in context, but the icons differ materially; the source monitor’s matching 70% scores are not a copying verdict.

Both sellers exploit the Claude keyword and familiar visual cues

Both subtitles use Claude; first promotions reinforce the word with orange/terracotta palettes and radial symbols. App Scam DB assesses this combination as abuse of Claude search/brand recognition that risks confusion with the official product. The icons differ, and both descriptions disclaim affiliation; search rankings, model access and trademark permission were not independently verified.

Weekly renewal: $311.48 and $259.48 estimated annually

AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything’s $5.99 weekly offer has an estimated annual cost of $311.48, about 6.23 times its $49.99 yearly plan. Code AI’s $4.99 weekly offer has an estimated annual cost of $259.48; no yearly offer appears in its current purchase table.

A buyer says lifetime access led to another payment request

AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything lists a $99.99 Lifetime Purchase. In the supplied analysis, a one-star reviewer dated 31 October 2026 says that after buying lifetime access, another payment request appeared a few days later and AI access stopped working. The same complaint was visible in the independently retrieved US listing. The original native review card is shown below.

This is a concrete billing/access allegation, rather than an automated keyword score. The investigation did not obtain a receipt, reproduce the paywall, verify account restoration or establish how the developer handled the complaint. The reviewer’s scam characterization belongs to the reviewer; the report does not turn it into a confirmed fraud verdict.

A second visible AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything review complains of being asked to pay before getting an answer. That alone does not establish deception because the listing is free to download with paid access. It is recorded separately from the lifetime-entitlement complaint. Code AI is a different app from a different seller; the AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything complaint is not attributed to it.

Claude in the subtitle, orange around it: the combined branding concern

The exact subtitles are Built on Claude Anthropic API (AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything) and Built on Claude , Anthropic AI (Code AI). Both developers place the searchable Claude brand prominently in the subtitle and reinforce it with orange/terracotta palettes and radial symbols in their icons and first advertisements. App Scam DB assesses that combination as abuse of Claude brand recognition: users seeking Anthropic’s official chatbot may be drawn toward separately published, separately billed products. The assessment concerns the public presentation; the internal keyword fields, search advertising and actual ranking effects were not measured.

The icons are not the same. AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything uses a pointed white burst on terracotta; Code AI uses AI letters inside short rounded rays on brighter orange. Official Claude uses its own irregular asterisk. The concern is their combined visual/wording context, rather than treating orange alone or every radial motif as exclusive to Anthropic.

Both current descriptions expressly say they are independent third-party applications and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Those statements materially affect the interpretation and are reproduced here. They do not answer every question about the overall impression created by icons and advertisements, but the report does not suppress them or claim the listings explicitly say Anthropic is the seller.

Anthropic officially calls its model family Claude and its developer service the Claude API. Claude is therefore not only the consumer chatbot’s name. Built on Claude can describe a genuine model integration; Built on Anthropic API is another possible description, not the only technically correct wording. Actual access to the claimed models was not tested. The branding concern is distinct from whether an API integration is possible.

The shared colour cues and model wording do not establish that Farhat Tahir and Poulami Das are the same operator. Their exact developer accounts, bundle IDs and policy domains differ. No direct ownership, shared contact or shared backend identifier between these two primary apps was established.

The API is real; the visual branding still needs scrutiny

What Anthropic’s trademark rules actually prohibit

Anthropic’s published guidelines require specific permission and prior approval of materials using its marks. They prohibit alterations to supplied marks, including changes to colour, type or proportions, and forbid implying unauthorized sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.

That supports scrutiny of the Claude wording, brand elements and overall impression of these advertisements. It is not a blanket statement that a third party cannot say its software uses Claude models. No app-specific brand permission or right-holder enforcement finding was obtained, so this report does not declare a confirmed violation solely from an API reference.

The report’s editorial finding is that both sellers use the Claude keyword with familiar orange/radial presentation to borrow brand recognition and risk consumer confusion. Their independence disclaimers remain relevant context; permission to access a model and permission to use brand assets are separate questions.

Anthropic Trademark Guidelines Official Claude API overview

Anthropic Trademark Guidelines, refreshed 2 November 2026 (E38); official Claude API terminology (E39).

What the two sellers charge

AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything lists weekly, monthly, yearly and lifetime offers. Code AI lists weekly, monthly and lifetime offers, and its description promises all models forever for the one-time lifetime purchase. That is a marketing promise, not a verified guarantee of ongoing model access.

At current US prices, the annual estimate is $311.48 for AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything’s weekly plan and $259.48 for Code AI’s weekly plan. AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything’s yearly offer is $49.99. Code AI has no yearly entry in its current purchase table, even though its linked terms refer to annual and lifetime subscriptions and a seven-day free trial. The listed offer and generic terms are not fully aligned.

Euro offers in Germany and Ireland agree: AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything is €6.99 weekly, €17.99 monthly, €59.99 yearly and €99.99 lifetime. Code AI is €5.99 weekly, €17.99 monthly and €99.99 lifetime. Continuous weekly renewal has estimated annual costs of €363.48 and €311.48 respectively. Prices are distinct from official Anthropic subscriptions and API usage charges.

No middleman servers — except the policy allows a proxy

Code AI’s App Store description says it talks directly to the Anthropic Claude API with no middleman servers. Its Lumen product website repeats that direct-only message. The privacy policy explains direct Anthropic requests, but section 3 also names Vercel as host of an optional managed-key proxy endpoint used by subscribers. The terms likewise refer to a managed-key proxy.

Those documents distinguish bring-your-own-key access from a managed subscriber mode. A direct BYOK route could coexist with a proxy-based subscriber route. The problem is that the headline no-middleman promise is absolute while the linked legal text qualifies it. This is a documented disclosure inconsistency, not a measurement of the app’s actual network route or proof that prompts are retained.

Both listings say Data Not Collected. Lumen’s app-specific policy describes transmitted chat text, attachments, prior turns, model/system settings and subscription providers while denying analytics/device identifiers. Apple’s privacy-label rules distinguish retained collection from real-time processing and specific exceptions. Transmission by itself does not prove a false label; the relevant question is which data any app or provider retains under each access mode.

AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything’s complete ten-section Notion policy says personal information is not shared with third parties, apart from limited Apple purchase handling, and describes local-first storage. It does not explain which prompts, attachments or images are sent to Anthropic or other AI providers, despite the advertised Claude API access and image tools. This is a material gap in the data-flow explanation; it does not establish that every prompt contains personal data, that data is retained, or that a leak occurred. The initial supplied capture is a viewport; the full public page was read in a later follow-up.

The AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything policy and terms both give the generic address [email protected]. No operator-specific support identity or business jurisdiction was established through those pages. No message was sent to test that contact.

E4, E7, E13-E17, E21, E32. The general Kodeora portfolio policy is not substituted for Lumen’s app-specific policy.

Several linked disclosures describe a different product state

The linked site calls the product Lumen and still says it is coming soon to the Mac App Store, while Apple dates the app’s first release to 26 May 2026. Its website advertises 21 AI tools, compared with 19 in the current listing. Its privacy policy refers to a 4+ app rating, whereas the current store rating is 16+.

The Lumen terms, dated 13 May 2026, use ANTHROCHAT in the warranty and liability sections. These inconsistent names and stale fields support a finding of poorly maintained legal/product copy. They do not independently establish that the app had those earlier public names or that a dated rebrand occurred.

The Lumen website is a functioning Vercel-hosted product site with features, support and legal pages. AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything links Notion-hosted policies. These hosting choices alone do not prove fraud or reveal what either developer pays for hosting. The concern is the content and clarity of the disclosures.

The studio homepage and about page identify Kodeora and use the legal styling Kodeora Digital Pvt. Ltd. The about page describes an AI-assisted build-and-own studio that ships frequently. The report records those public statements without treating AI-assisted development, shipping volume or an unverified corporate-directory match as proof of misconduct. Company ownership and directors were not independently established.

India is declared for Code AI; AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything’s country is unknown

Both German and Irish trader disclosures identify Poulami Das as a trader in Sagardighi, West Bengal, India. This is an Apple provider-location declaration, not a nationality inference. The report omits the personal street address, telephone and email from the HTML narrative.

Farhat Tahir is shown as a non-trader in both checked EU storefronts, without a business country. The Notion pages do not supply an account-linked business jurisdiction. Country remains Unknown. Similar-sounding names, language and third-party professional profiles are not used to assign a location.

Lumen’s choice of Delaware law is a contractual jurisdiction clause, not evidence that the Apple seller operates in the United States. The primary country records remain India for Code AI and Unknown for AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything. Related portfolio apps below are context, not extra primary entries in this report’s country statistics.

Several titles refer to established services, including HP, YouTube Kids, Netflix, Peacock and Gmail. Those names identify portfolio context and further subjects for review; use of a service name alone does not prove every listed app is a copycat. The present visual comparison concerns the two submitted AI apps.

The same account’s Classly Study links a separate Classmate policy describing a Kodeora AI proxy and rate-limit records. That independently reinforces the portfolio’s Kodeora connection. It does not prove Lumen routes through the Classmate endpoint or follows that app’s logging practices.

Kodeora contact evidence reaches Mr Siddharth’s account

Prayer lock :muslims, app 6773007594, is published under Mr Siddharth, developer ID 1859651378. Its live US listing names the same [email protected] address used by Lumen and displays © 2026 Kodeora. Lumen also points to the Kodeora domain through its business contacts. These are direct public business-contact and copyright associations across two different Apple accounts.

This evidence supports a connection to the Kodeora publishing/support identity. It does not, by itself, establish common legal ownership, a family relationship, an account transfer, a ban or review circumvention. Mr Siddharth’s current DE/IE Prayer lock pages show non-trader status and no business country; Poulami Das’s India address is not copied onto that account.

An indexed Peptide Tracker listing under Mr Siddharth also mentions the Kodeora support address, but the live US URL returned 404 and US lookup supplied no record. It is retained only as a research lead, not as an additional currently verified US app or proof of removal by Apple.

No equivalent contact, domain or identifier connection was established between Farhat Tahir / AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything and Poulami Das / Kodeora. Their shared use of Claude-oriented marketing is not enough to combine their ownership identities.

Current warnings, without an invented launch-to-rebrand story

AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything was first released on 5 May 2026; its current version 3.0 is dated 10 June. Code AI was first released on 26 May, with current version 1.0.1 dated 19 June. Those are Apple release dates. Both supplied PDFs are one-off analyses from 2 November, not a monitored change history.

Earlier-history queries returned only same-day exact listing captures in the variants checked. The same-day primary listings and supplied Code AI Irish replay opened; the supplied AI Chatbot - Ask AI Anything Notion replay produced an empty body. No earlier neutral identity, later Claude transformation or previous account termination was established. Stale Lumen/ANTHROCHAT wording is a current document inconsistency, not a substitute for dated historical evidence.

Apple’s accurate-metadata, copycat/artwork and intellectual-property rules are relevant to how the brand is presented; subscription rule 3.1.2 is relevant to clear paid access, alongside the customer’s lifetime complaint. Privacy rule 5.1.1 is relevant to routing and collection disclosures. Anthropic’s trademark rules address alterations and implied affiliation. These support a review request, not an existing Apple or court finding against either seller.
